Pottery found me at exactly the right time, and I have never looked back. After years of painting and drawing, working with clay felt like finally speaking my first language. There is something about the wheel that is impossible to explain until you've tried it, the focus it demands, the way everything else goes quiet, the small miracle of watching a lump of mud become something real in your hands.

Smol Rabbit Studios exists because I want other people to find that. Their version of it, whatever that looks like. You don't need experience or talent; you just need to show up and be willing to get a little dirty.

At its core, pottery is just smushing rocks together and throwing them in the fire. The fact that something beautiful comes out the other side feels a little like alchemy.
